Why are we called any analog?

Analog means tactile, hands-on, non-digital.
In an age where everything is becoming digital, we want to preserve a little warmth you can actually feel —
a piece of paper, a roll of tape, a pair of scissors, a quiet moment of journaling.

AnY in any analog comes from the first letters of the two owners' names:
A = Ada
Y = Yang

Why don’t we sell whole rolls?

We're often asked: "Why do you only sell cut-to-size samples?"

The answer is simple: A whole roll often never gets used up.

We are hardcore journaling lovers ourselves. We used to buy whole rolls just for one beautiful pattern, only to find that:

  • What we actually used was maybe half a meter, one meter;

  • The rest lay in a drawer, year after year, becoming a burden — too precious to throw away, but never truly used;

  • Meanwhile, those unused tapes could have been loved and used by someone else.

So we made a decision: sell only cut-to-size samples.

What do samples offer you?

  • Try the most patterns with the least money;

  • No guilt over leaving a whole roll unused;

  • Like browsing a candy store — taste a little of each flavor, and find the one that truly sparks joy.

We also hope that every piece of tape we sell eventually ends up in a journal, on an envelope, anywhere that brings a smile — not forgotten in a corner.

Samples are gentle, too

Sampling is naturally eco-friendly:

  • Less idle tape → less waste;

  • We use reusable packaging whenever possible (paper bags, kraft paper, biodegradable self-sealing bags);

  • Each sample is cut to order, leaving no excess inventory.

We believe: treasuring things is the kindest thing we can do for the earth.

We are not a "tape-selling" store

We are a store that helps you actually use your tape.

Here's how we hope you'll use this shop:

  • Want to try a new style? Buy a short piece — no regrets.

  • Only need to decorate one or two pages? No need to hoard a whole roll.

  • Looking for a small gift for a friend? A few samples make a thoughtful, waste-free present.

We will never tell you "buy more, save more."
We only say: Buy just enough. Buy what truly makes your heart move. That's the best.
